Galaxy S4 active gets FCC certified, more Zoom S4 rumors

The mini S4 Galaxy was only made official and according to rumors, there will be two S4 relatives join the party soon the S4 of active galaxy and the Galaxy S4 Zoom.

The active galaxy S4 will be a version certified IP57 regular S4 unlike the mini, will pack almost all specifications of high range as a Super AMOLED screen with FullHD resolution, quad - core 600 Snapdragon chipset, connectivity for Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and LTE 5 "."

Main Chamber has been renounced 8 Megapixels, but the rest should be the same, a 2, battery 600mAh, 16 GB of built-in storage, microSD card slot, dual-band Wi-Fi and so on.

The AT & T version of the phone just passed the FCC as the I537 certification. While the FCC documents do not have a proper image, these leaked images already revealed what appears to the asset.

Rumors still zoomed the Samsung Galaxy S4. Is supposed to be a variant of mini S4 with the same 4.3 "qHD screen Super AMOLED, Android Jelly Bean, 8GB of storage, microSD card, 1 battery of 900mAh, but with a processor that is different from the 1.6 GHz (probably a 5 Exynos model)." It is curious that the rumor says there will be no connectivity for LTE in the S4 Zoom, the Chamber of the Galaxy and the Galaxy S4 mini LTE.

Anyway, the camera is the property of the owner of the Galaxy S4 Zoom a 16MP shooter with 10 x optical zoom. This is also more difficult to believe some of the rumor, but we heard the same thing in the past and we will see what happens on June 20, when Samsung will announce new Galaxy and Ativ devices.

New picture of LG Optimus G2 and details about the escape of Optimus L9 II

LG appears to be preparing updates for two phones that are pending an update ship Optimus G logo and Optimus L9.

The LG Optimus G2 was captured in another photo and it seems that the software had early experienced a problem with the error screen advising beta testers to send a report by e-mail to G2-SW-Stability@lgm.com.

Unfortunately, this image doesn t confirm screen 1080 p 5 "or 800 Snapdragon chipset that rumors have assigned to the second generation of Optimus G.

The G2 Optimus could serve as the basis for the Nexus 5, as the original was made for the Nexus 4. It is rumored that LG is already working on the next link.

The LG Optimus L9 II was more loose-lipped, however, and right label naked 'L9 II"on its face, rather than having us imagine things based on a direction of electronic mail of the bug report. It helps that he had beaten GFXBench also.

The reference point detected a 720 p screen (presumably 4.7 "as in the original), Android 4.1.2 (with visible LG customizations in the photo) and with two cores of Krait 200 400 Snapdragon chipset running at 1.4 GHz, 1 GB RAM and 305 Adreno GPU.

TechTastic.nl, the site that published this information in the G2 Optimus and Optimus L9 II, promises more information about the camera and other specifications of the L9 II, which should be officially announced the coming month. The rest of the second generation l-series (II of L3, L5 L7 II and II) announced earlier this year in the MWC.

Analyst: Samsung to sell 80 million Galaxy S4 in 2013

Samsung announced few days ago that has sent 10 million Galaxy S4 units around the world. It is an impressive milestone achieved in less than a month - two times better than the achievement of his predecessor.

RBC Capital Markets Mark Sue analyst predicts that the strong sales of Samsung Galaxy S4 will continue at least until the end of the year. Expect Samsung to sell 80 million units of its flagship in 2013, supports the claim with the continued high demand in the US market and the already exhausted 32 GB Black model (the white 32 GB Galaxy S4 is still hitting the shelves).

Samsung Galaxy S4 impulse is far from over and Samsung is doing everything possible to maximize their potential. It has already announced the mini S4 Galaxy, but we expect that smartphones Galaxy S4 active and Galaxy S4 Zoom to join the lineup very soon.

So it seems very possible for Samsung to sell devices Galaxy S4 80 million at the end of this year, but time will tell.

It is a picture on the Sony Xperia L4 and the Nokia phablet?

We stumbled upon a blurred image, supposedly showing Rumorland-resident phablet Sony goes by the name of Xperia Togari (L4). There is also a phablet of Nokia that point sources could be named 1030 with maybe a Lumia somewhere in the name too.

The photo allegedly shows the L4 Xperia from Sony and Nokia Lumia 1030

The Togari could sport 6.44 "FullHD 1080 p display and is supposed to be powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor." The image below compares the alleged direct kick against an image previously filtering of a Xperia housing and there are obvious similarities.

Sony Xperia L4 in comparison with the previous leak

As for the Nokia device quite interesting - sport a body type Lumia in cyan see a great device that fits three medium-sized Live tiles. This could be the Lumia phablet device Nokia CEO is has been talking about.

Nokia 1030 and Xperia Togari

Yet the appearance of the image very little confidence given the presence of the camera shake of blur in the background and the lack of it on the part of Xperia L4 of the image. Our gut tells us that it be taken with more than the usual pinch of salt that accompanies such images.

However, both prototypes in the photo seem quite plausible, even if the image is false it there a chance outside that has been created by someone who has seen the devices in question.

AppId is over the quota

If you've bought a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2, you're probably all too familiar with its Jelly Bean rollout and how unnervingly tedious it is. While some countries received it already, the UK was still kept on hold (among other countries). Luckily, that's no longer the case and the firmware has been released to UK owners of the smartphone.

At first, Samsung was testing the firmware (in the beginning of February), then it was leaked (in the end of February), and finally the rollout began (in the beginning of April).

The update brings along Samsung's TouchWiz Nature UX along with the major smoothness benefits of Jelly Bean's Project Butter.

You can flash the firmware on your smartphone as of now - download in the Source link below (go for I8160BTUMC8). Or you can wait for an update notification or keep checking through KIES on your computer.

HTC may release AOSP ROM for current owners HTC One

People in the United States looking to buy an HTC one soon (June 26) face is with a difficult decision to purchase one with sense 5 or a Nexus One experience (and lose some functions). But if you already bought one, the choice is made.

Or do you have? HTC allegedly "is studying the best way to support to pioneers of the" there could be an official ROM from AOSP coming to HTC One. If the owners of HTC Nexus experience will get a similar choice with a 5 ROM sense still it remains to be seen.

There is no reason not to both versions of the phone cost around $600. That is $ $550/650 for a HTC One off-contract with sense (depending on the carrier) and $600 for the Nexus One HTC experience Play Store.

Of course, HTC still say officially that it is working on this ROM, so there is a possibility that we're getting our hopes for nothing. We will have to wait and see what the company decides in the end.

Now, if HTC and Google (and Samsung also) will bring a badge pure Android to the rest of the world would be nice (the experience of Nexus One is an exclusive U.S. right now).

Samsung Galaxy mini S4 price, reaching three UK

Russia will receive the S4 Galaxy mini price 19.990 Russian rubles (around $630). Dual SIM smartphone version will be available in June.

Of course it should not go too far in that the prices of smartphones in Russia are always very high. However, if we consider the price 29.990 rubles the adult S4 of the Galaxy (about $945) then can probably do the math and get a fairly accurate estimate of the S4 Galaxy mini price in your country. The mini version will obviously be lower to around two-thirds of what the cost of big brother.

Meanwhile, the three UK carrier posted a video with the mini Galaxy S4, confirming that it will offer smartphone. Unfortunately we could not specific on contract prices or availability of datess.

Roaming in the EU can go to 2014

Neelie Kroes, the European Commissioner for Digital Agenda, is pressing Parliament to put an end to roaming within the EU charges.

In a speech today to the Parliament, Kroes demanded support to move through legislation a complete package of telecommunications for all of Europe through the Passover of 2014.

I want to show the people that the EU is relevant to their lives. Did the digital rules catch up with its legitimate. I want you to be able to go back to their constituents and say that you were able to put an end to mobile roaming costs.

The European Parliament has already taken some steps to reduce the cost of roaming in the Union, with the most recent that in effect in July 2012. Currently roaming charges to end-users should not exceed 0.29 for calls and 0.08 for out calls.

The most reduced to 0.19 and 0.05, respectively in July this year. Roaming data transfer caps also will reduce the current 0.70 to 0.40 per megabyte (all prices are without VAT). Although much less that it was years ago, it is still significantly more expensive that Europeans pay within their domestic markets.

Waiver to set roaming charges would be great news for the citizens of the European Union, which no longer be concerned about inflated phone bills when traveling abroad.

Other aspects that potential legislation aims to take action is the net neutrality and cybercrime, which usually vary greatly between Member States.

Sony Xperia Z are available through a company of United States soon

At the Conference of all things D D11, CEO of Sony Kaz Hirai confirmed that Sony Xperia Z goes to a company of United States in the near future, although he has not specified what carrier exactly.

At present, the most likely candidate is T-Mobile, as pictures leaked of what is supposedly a Xperia Z-T-Mobile-branded emerged last month. The smartphone also recently secured FCC approval with support for t-Mo bands.

Of course, you can get the Xperia Z in the United States so far, but you will need to get your unlocked version directly from Sony directly for the juicy $629. So if you are looking to take advantage of lower price in contract, this is great news.

Meanwhile, there is a word that will go to the Sony Xperia ZL, counterpart of waterproof Z, for AT & T at some point soon.

Either way, we hope that the Sony and major United States carriers do things happen early that afternoon, as it has been almost three months since the device became available in most markets.

Thanks, Fady, for the tip!

HTC might release AOSP ROM for current HTC One owners

People in the US looking to buy an HTC One will soon (June 26) be faced with a tough decision ? buy One with Sense 5 or a One Nexus Experience (and lose some functionality). But if you already bought one, the choice has been made.

Or has it? HTC is reportedly "examining the best way to support early adopters of the One," so there could be an official AOSP ROM coming to the HTC One. Whether HTC One Nexus Experience owners will be get a similar choice with a Sense 5 ROM remains to be seen.

There's no reason not to ? both versions of the phone are priced around $600. That's $550/$650 for an off-contract HTC One with Sense (depending on carrier) and $600 for the HTC One Nexus Experience from the Play Store.

Of course, HTC has yet to officially say that it's working on such ROM, so there's a possibility we're getting our hopes up for nothing. We'll have to wait and see what the company decides in the end.

Now, if HTC and Google (and Samsung too) will bring a pure Android flagship to the rest of the world it would be great (the One Nexus Experience is a US-exclusive right now).

Roaming charges in the EU could be gone by 2014

Neelie Kroes, the European Commissioner for Digital Agenda, is lobbying the European Parliament for an end to roaming charges within the European Union.

Samsung did well to keep the Super AMOLED screen and the resolution cut isn't too painful. qHD looks reasonably well on a 4.3" diagonal. The comfortably compact Galaxy S4 mini is the flagship in miniature, replicating the original design to the last detail, from the layout of controls, through the finish, to the location of the IR port. It is the same Android version ticking inside too, topped with TouchWiz 5.0 Nature UX. Even most of the air gestures of the big Galaxy S4 are available on the S4 mini too.

So, although the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini has been designed with budget in mind, it's mostly the hardware that was affected. The mini version of the Galaxy S4 is a feature-rich package, and users should have little to worry about if it behaves as promised. We'll get to what kind of performance you can expect but let's first get the design and build out of the way.
