Sprint has announced that it will begin offering the HTC One in a red color. Nicknamed "Red Ruby", the special color of the HTC One will be exclusive to customers of Sprint in the United States.
HTC has already begun to sell red in the United Kingdom and called the "Glamour red" paint job. That is the reason for the slight difference in saturation that you are noticing.
The HTC One is also expected to be available in a variation of blue, a photo that not long ago was leaked. Any additional information regarding its availability or pricing is not available at this time.
Anyway, back to the Sprint Ruby Red HTC One Edition, will be available beginning August 16 by 199,99 $ (same price for regular graphite and silver HTC One) with a 2 year contract. -Contract, the device will sale retail $549,99. Sprint is also throwing in a promo offering a chance to win a second One HTC if you buy one.
